Gouden Kalf - 2021
PANTSER won the Gouden Kalf for best short film of the year at NFF. It is a real honor to receive this award. A big thanks to everyone involved! Special thanks to Daniel Dow (producer), DPPLR and Nederlands Film Fonds.

New stuff coming soon! Pantser (Filmfonds Lockdown Cinema) is a 20 minute short film about two sisters trapped in their family house. Outside, a deadly pandemic wreaks havoc, while inside, the girls are running out of food. One morning, a man in a hazmat suit visits their house, offering them his help. But the girls don’t trust him…

It had its international première at BIFAN, South-Korea 2020, and was screened at Imagine Film Festival 2020, NFF 2020, Screamfest L.A., PEFF 2020 Festival of Environmental Cinema in Argentina, Neuchatel Fantastic Film Festival 2021 and San Sebastian Fantasy Film Festival 2020, where it won the Mèliés d’Argent for best European Short Film.
WILD - short film - 2019
With the support of the Dutch Film Fund (filmfonds Shorts) and Cinesud (Cinesud Talent 2018) we shot the short film ‘Wild’ in the late summer of 2018. A dark absurdistic comedy about a misbehaving father on a trip with his family.

Cast: o.a. Wouter Hendrickx (Helaasheid der Dingen, De Infiltrant), Hannah van Lunteren (Dames 4, Ik Weet Wie Je Bent) and Jochum ten Haaf (Dunkirk, Vechtershart).
‘Wild’ premiered at Imagine Film Festival in april 2019 and won the Méliès d’Argent award for best short film. It was also in competition at the Bucheon Int. Fantastic Film Festival 2019 in South-Korea, DC Shorts 2019, Washington D.C., Bogoshorts 2019, Colombia, and in the main competition at Sitges Fantastic Film Festival 2019, Spain, Prague Shorts (Karlovy Vary) 2020, Tampere Short Film Festival 2020, among others. Back in The Netherlands, the film is part of Dutch Film Festival’s official selection for the Dutch Golden Calf competition for best short film.
In oct. 2019 Wild won the Méliès d’Or 2019 award, for best European fantastic short film at Sitges Film Festival.

Synopsis: Ton and Ineke Korrel enjoy their warm afternoon soup when a man crashes down from the sky, in their garden. Ton sees a dangerous species on his lawn, while Ineke wants to help this heavily injured man. The situation escalates. The couple will soon find out who their other half really is. Hopefully before it's too late.
BEERZE - Commercial - 2016
The first commercial I ever directed! Together with creative Jasper Langenhoff I created this mini adventure film for the Dutch beer brand BEERZE. Very tasty beers. The film was shot with a very very tiny budget, but with lots of help of local hero’s. All the cast-members are among them.
